I would like to paint my sand (http://maplered.com) Stone (http://g603.net) fire surround, but do not know what type of paint to use. Do we need to use a masonary paint and (http://maplered.com) does it need to be heat resistant? With the texture being rough, I would like if possible to use a paint to smooth the texture out, such as egg shell? Could egg shell be used?
